Hello, bought my 2013 55k miler V8 cabriolet last week as a summer toy but having already done 1500miles there are a few things that I could do with some help please

- engine start button and paddles, i want to replace both. I can find OE engine start in black but struggling to find suitable paddles (that aren't £500!) .... anybody any suggestions where to get them?
- steering wheel buttons don't work very well without really really pushing on them .... anything i can do to make them work better?
- car didn't come with a fuel filler cap, i assume it did from the factory and is just a simple purchase of a new one
- has sticky button syndrome, plans in place to resolve
- it has a combo of PZeros and a rubbish tyre brand, I assume MPS4S are the way to go?
- adjusting the xenons, one of the beam patterns is way too low so will be looking to lift a bit (I have read there is some adjustment on the headlights)
- any other things i should be wary of?

I bought it remotely and whilst not perfect is in very good nick, engine has a bit of grunt that's for sure.

Thanks

Hello,

I replaced my silver standard plastic gear paddles with the aluminium ones (these have the + and - signs cut out rather than pained on).

The Jaguar part number is T2R6547MMU. I found it hard to find anywhere stocking this at the time but found the exact same parts are used on land rovers and you can buy the exact product but with the landrover product number (VPLVS0187MMU) for a reasonable price on here:

…and definitely upgrade to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.

I recently replaced my filler cap as the retaining strap broke. Part number C2D33850, £38.39 from Britcar delivered. I could have just relaced the strap from https://www.powerfuluk.com/products/fue ... guar-ftype but I didn't want the faff of fiddling about.

Continental Sport Contact 7’s have usurped Michelin PS4’s from the top spot, so do consider them. When an opportunity arises I shall be fitting them to mine to banish the P-Zero (grip) to the bonfire

Thanks for the comments.

I have now ordered a heap of stuff, only things left to sort is the sticky button syndrome alongside putting some new tyres on it.
Since picking it up have already done 1500miles crossing Europe on motorways (at the speed limit) .... 34.9mpg -> remarkable!
