Please ask only once - it saves trying to follow multiple threads. It'd also help if you made your question clearer, I don't understand what you're asking.

My sincere apologises I'm new on here and not the best with computers or social media my question was that my daylight running light are only at the front and the rear ones remain of ,I've been driving Jags for 20 odd years and have a great few in my time and the rear lights have always remained on but my new 21 plate they don't come on ,

Is this the correct thread to have this

Hello DeeDubz. Welcome to the forum.

Has always puzzled me how there’s, seemingly, no continuity with JLR running lights.

My car, thankfully, has both front & rear lit as soon as D engaged. Not an F-Type but my wife’s Evoque has the front on but not the rears.

Most F-Types I spot on the road do seem to have both lit up.

I’d be a bit peed off if they weren’t synchronised. Be interesting to see others experience.

The idea of DRLs is to warn of your approach, not your departure, so no point illuminating the rear during daylight hours.

My MY18 has front DRL and rear side lights on all the time. Maybe a difference in model years (MY18) and countries.

On my m/y ‘14 the rear daylight running lights did not come on, but on my m/y ‘19 they do. I’ve also noticed this when in a convoy, the rears don’t come on in early cars.

I'm not a big fan of them on the rear, but for sure on the front.

Mandated back in 2011 they make a lot of sense on the front to make approaching vehicles more visible, especially when muppets don't have auto headlights set, or the car is too old to have them.
On the rear they are optional hence JLR have various configurations. My last Evoque and current BMW both had options in settings to control them.

Personally I'd rather have and see brake lights clearly not slightly brighter than sidelights on as rear DRL's. Yes I know there's a third high level brake light.
As an aside I'm also not a fan of the current voque for car width always on LED strips, back and or front, or pin hole sized brake lights.
