Getting closer to diagnosing this, anyone has any ideas as to where this actually is? I’ve checked behind seat and it’s not there….

I’d be looking at the base of the ‘B’ post where the inertia reel anchors to the body

Popped in to Jag and the lad there said he thinks this may be in the door - yet to disassemble the door to confirm.

However the saga continues…. I also have a “Left outer front impact sensor” B1439-15 error, bought a new impact sensor and connected it but the error remained, tried 2 different impact sensors and same thing, I then swapped over the impact sensor from the right to the left side to see if it may be wiring issue however the error disappeared from the left side and now is on the right side so no idea as to why the new impact sensors not working (assuming they may need to be coded? Can anyone confirm?) BUT in the process as soon as I moved the impact sensor from right side to left side the bloody restraint sensor error ALSO moved from right to left!!!!
This is getting a bit tedious now, spoke to Jag and they’re as useless as a **************.

More of a rant out of pure frustration than anything but if anyone here happens to have any ideas please do say.

Would the sensors need coding to the car rather than just replacing?

I’m not sure, given I’m still getting error with the new sensors I assume it may need to be coded to the car (?) - was hoping for someone here with more technical knowledge than me to confirm/point me to the right direction but even if it needs to be coded that’ll kill one problem but the bloody restraint sensor may stay alive.
