I didn't keep it very long, I bought it off a friend and didn't want to fall out with him (he's now massively wealthy!). I found the Alfas sturdier mechanically, although clearly Italian.
I loved my Lancia, rust and all. Never let me down over nearly 3 years (rotted away of course). It was quicker than a 2.0 Capri-just, handled better, stopped better, was more comfortable and arguably better looking. All imho of course. Unfortunately, the Ford didn't dissolve overnight like a Beta Coupe and was much easier to tune. Plus, the bits for it were a lot cheaper. Mine was worked on a little and I sold a kidney for an Ansa exhaust (the orangey centres were very exciting back in the 80s ) I still occasionally see an HPE and have envious thoughts
