I did over 100k in both the integra type r and the accord type r, bullet proof reliablity and great fun to drive.
Like a few people here i feel the f type r is close spiritual successor to the v8 TVR.
What cars did you have before the F-type?

Jaguar Mk X (pedal car by Triang!)
Triumph Herald 13/60 convertible
Vauxhall Chevette
Ford Fiesta 1.4S
Mazda MX-5 (mk1)
VW Vento
Seat Toledo
Mazda 3 Fastback (2014 on)
Just seven cars in 42 years surprises me. Well, it's the 42 years since buying the Herald which is the real shock!

Hmm good thread. Here’s mine (in probably the wrong order):
VW Golf 1.4
Brand New Ford Fiesta
Orange Rover Mini Cooper 1.3mpi
Skoda Fabia heap of junk
Red Rover Mini Cooper Sport 500
VW T4 Camper
Toyota Corolla
Toyota Corolla (£400, but utterly bomb proof)
Volvo V50 (flipped upside down)
VW T4 Camper (self converted)
Saab 900se
Fiat Panda 100hp (possibly my favourite after the current F-Type)
Jaguar XE
F-Type V8
Plus a few bikes along the way, my favourite of which was a ‘99 Triumph Daytona - which I converted to a cafe racer

So, my car journey started in 1985:
Ford escort mk2 1.3 ghia
TR7
TR7 convertible
MG Montego (bought one of the company cars from work, and it was plastic not fantastic)
Then had a few years where on the side I used to buy from auction, clean up and sell so had dozens I can’t remember but those I can:
Citroen AX GT (lot of fun)
Ford escorts of various type
Ford Orion ghia
Citroen ZX volcane
Citroen ZX (can’t recall the spec)
Mazda 323 GT
Peugeot 405 (rubbish)
Ford sierra
Ford fiesta
Renault 5 GT turbo ( absolutely spotless unmolested low mileage example I wish I’d kept)
Then family came along and it was:
VW sharan
Mercedes E class 320cdi avantgarde estate with 7 seats (kept that 12 years from nearly new and it was faultless)
Peugeot 207 GT for commuting
Citroen DS3 for commuting
BMW 320d m sport touring
BMW Z4 2.5si convertible (still have this)
Jaguar F type P380 AWD convertible (still have this)
Currently looking at options for a sensible ‘other’ car but can’t make my mind up on petrol or full EV

Porsche Cayman S 981
Ftype V8 p450
From the golf R I've also had a second family car in addition to the above:

So now I have the Tesla and the FType which I think is quite a complementary garage.
