Took my F type on a 400 mile round trip this week, mainly motorway. Its a fantastic cruiser.

First time I have really used the sound system ( Meridian ) via Spotify on an extended journey and very pleased with it.

Cruised between 60 -70 mph and managed 49.4 mpg.

My car has the well documented DRL issue with the passenger side headlight but passed its MOT last week with no advisories. That was a very tense 45 minute wait !

My handbook doesn't say anything about DSC being reduced (or altered in any way) in dynamic mode. Certainly not part of the configurable dynamics.

The handbook is surprisingly vague about what Dynamic mode actually does, but IIRC even if the manual doesn't state it, Dynamic mode switches DSC to TracDSC.

Do you see the DSC OFF warning lamp in the info display to indicate that normal DSC is disabled? I don't ever recall seeing it.

Nope, that never shows up when enabling dynamic mode. It should rather say Trac DSC though and not DSC OFF.

My rear view camera lens has been very blurry. Took it to my local mechanic recently and he used various cleaners on it, similar to what is used on plastic headlight covers. The improvement was fantastic. However, the outer area of the lens still needs more work, so taking it back today to see if he can improve it. Was considering purchasing a new rear camera. At over £300 for the camera, this was certainly a cheaper option.

Took her for her second MOT. Must have been over two hours with the chap testing her in awe and the rest of the garage crew and customers wanting a chat and a good look. Gave me a chance to have a nosey of her underside ;)

I’ve never had so much attention out in her before!

Great! :D

Remarkable! I bet few of us ever see anything like that.

Took the Jag out for a nice blast - a mix of motorways, fast A roads and some B roads. Over 120 miles and enjoyed every moment of it.

Weather not great for the next 2 days but looking dry and sunny on 3rd and 4th Jan when I shall be out and about again.

Took advantage of the lovely weather today and got the roof down (spotted several convertibles but was the only one brave (or stupid) enough to do so). Outside temp ranged from 2 degrees C to a high of 6. Warm and toasty in the cabin though with the heated seats and steering wheel.

Saw a black new shape F Type convertible on the A417 (between Cirencester and Stroud). Anyone on here?

Several aircraft visible in the bright blue sky.
