Interesting. Was there anything in particular that didn't cut the mustard quality wise with the F-Type replacement lights?

Considering the Chinese manufacturing capabilities in this day and age and considering that this hardly is any cutting edge technology some manufacturer over there could arguably easily replicate and improve what Valeo did, so it will be interesting to see how that develops.

Latest update - new headlight installed yesterday. Seems fine although I was told they were unable to register the headlight as the system was down and would try manually (?) so we'll see if any problem emerges as a result of that.

Hopefully the DRL failure mode has been engineered out.

I have to say that Jaguar customer service could not have been more helpful in keeping me informed of the part delivery and the dealer (Hendy Eastleigh) was very good too. Just crazy though that I started this journey nearly a year ago.

The new headlight has quite different codes - see pictures.
