Also had my first cold start today. Thick frost.

Used remote start from the App for the first time and within 5 mins all clear and toasty.

Its a great feature that I use on my Tesla as well all the time.

So.... drivers door handle did partially deploy, but door frozen shut until some gentle hard heaving. Boot frozen shut. Wipers frozen. Wing mirrors no deploy.
Drivers door would then not shut properly because of ice somewhere. Some good minutes of warm-up and I was off and going, in snow mode at first.
Everything was fine when I got to work, happily - no fuses blown, so all good. I do fret a bit about all the motorised bits and pieces.
Been there, done that! Remote start is your friend at this time of year (also Gummi Pflege on all the rubber seals).

I used to get that a lot with my previous XKRs. Once open, the door took quite a few hard slams to get it to stay shut. Now retired, so no longer an issue with the F-Type. :)

Replaced the rear Pirelli P Zero tyres to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. They seem smoother and quieter in comparison.

Any idea on how many miles you managed to squeeze out of the P Zeros and what was the current thread depth?

I only got 9024 miles and there was 2.5mm tread left, so might have maybe got 10-11k. The fronts still 5.5mm tread left.
