Thanks Moss for sharing the article. I'm glad I didn't buy the issue! Not only the writer over states the price of a V8 currently starting on AT from £25K, he just regurgitates what many reviewers who've never seen a manual V6 in the flesh said in the past. I hate when I read members of the media saying "it's proven" but fail to present any evidence.
Not saying people must like a manual gearbox but calling a precise, short-throw with a nice mechanical feel and tall gears "a weak link" proves that's not a real car person.

Yeah, you can do all sorts of things including a lightweight flywheel for those looking for track performance. For road use, the stock set up is more than adequate for those looking for fun and know how to modulate the clutch and get the most of available torque in every gear.
The shifter is right where it's supposed to be at about 20cm from the steering wheel
