2014 V6 S Convertible with 42K miles and despite having regular diff oil changes including one around 2K ago, I have a noise akin to a water bottle sloshing about in the boot when turning at very low speed. Guessing the diif is starting to give in but wondered if worth trying to change the oil again and putting an additive in to try and quieten it down. Any one tried an addititive or different type of oil?
I had a noise from my diff like the tyres were slipping when turning at slow speed. I had the oil changed and it sorted it I think but haven't done that many miles yet.
It never sounded like water slushing about, maybe a silly question, have you taken up your boot carpet covers and looked where the roof goes to see if there could be any water leaking in?
Below is the pick of how bad my diff oil was at 47k miles, believe Jaguar may have missed the diff oil when they were supposed to do it because car had only done 7k at that time.
