OK, done a fair bit of research , Youtube and here and thinking of buying an F Type. car 2022 F-Type P300 2 ltr with pano roof. It was registered Jan 2020 and has had 3 main dealer services, one was check at purhase and two at main dealer so apparently warranty run out at end of this year. Should I go with Jag warranty or their usunal warrantl Theres is £500/PA ??? Its at a Renault Dealer (Orpington) who refurbishing wheels and replacing Pano as it was cracked.

Advert says 18ins wheels but pic is 20ins wheels. Not sure what the standard size is but suspect 20ins a tad large.

BTW any other thoughts or input welcomed

Here is car

It was PDI'd in Brentwood on 30/12/2021 and delivered to the first customer on 12/01/2022 which is the warranty starting date.

It hasn't strayed far during it's life and remained around the same area in Kent looking at the service history. A cracked pano roof is pretty unusual, I wonder what happened there?

Personally, I'd go with the Jaguar Approved Warranty when the 3 years are up. It's usually much more comprehensive and will probably only be another £400 ish and you can pay for it monthly too.

If you do decide on this car ask Jaguar Customer Services to update their records, with you as the owner and you'll get all of the Jaguar warranty and connectivity renewals automatically.

It probably came from new with those 20" gyrodyne wheels. The '7 Split' 19s might have been the base spec, I'm not sure, but there seems to be a lot of P300s with the 20s.

Nice wheels those, just the right size in my view. The ride will be firm but not uncomfortable at all. Good thing is, if you damage one, those wheels have been around since 2014 so there's always some on eBay.

That’s a decent spec car you’re looking at. It has the Windsor leather seats with two tone interior, Meridian surround system, pan roof, heated front screen and the 20” Gyrodine wheels. These are all additions to standard spec and therefore I would suggest the wheels were part of the original order. It doesn’t have a heated steering wheel, so possibly single zone climate control? I.e. both controls act as one. Again if it did this would be another addition to standard.

I believe this (attached) would be the standard fit P300 wheel. The ride comfort on the F type is excellent even with 20” far better than Porsche/BMW all day long.

Lovely colour and package overall. But have you actually driven any of the other engine configurations (V6,V8) before settling for a 2 litre?

Havent driven any but thought the 2ltr was lighter handling given front end weight and I dont really need super fast car (had a few V12 Ferraris) so its fast enough...also probably quieter for touring with 'er indoors...

OK update, going for this, got a discount and I prefer colour, and smaller wheels. Still under Jag warranty till next May.

Got Vin checked, serviced twice and a PDI. 2 oil changes with 1100 miles.......If I buy tomoz ill wait till its home (will be delayed as my 1959 MGA has to get out of garage ill do a pucker update ....
