Having purchased my F-Type back in March of this year, I have to admit my wife hasn’t used the left hand side sunvisor since I purchased the car. She did the other day for the first time and was shocked to find that there is no mirror on it. Has anyone come across this on their F-Type?

More annoying is the inability to swing the visor over to the side window to block out the sun when it’s down low, although it would be more of a partial eclipse given the size of the visors

Yes, the mirrors were optional.

Can't remember me or any passenger ever needing a visor mirror so just took a look in the car if I have them - which I do. You're not missing much and this is what they look like. Odd that they were optional. As pointed out what's even more odd is that you can't swing them over to the side.

IIRC even if you have them they’re not illuminated and I think they’re sightly wavy chromed plastic at that - likely as you don’t want glass in front of your eyes in a crash.

Correct, they're not illuminated. They do look like proper little mirrors though. In this day and age I guess a phone is a much better option if you want to touch up your lipstick. :)

This reminded me of getting rid of or covering up this ugly little sticker on the outside. Rubbed it off with isopropyl in my last Jag but the end result wasn't 100% so will probably cover it instead.
