Hi,
Interested to know how you replaced the supercharger oil
Thanks
Fairly simple diy job and done it myself a couple of years ago.

Buy the oil and a 'kit' from somewhere like here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/183076581177

Easier with a flexible drinking straw to access through the top up point to draw almost all of it out. No supercharger removal reqiored.
Replace with same volume extracted.

There a few threads about it on this and of course a Google search will help

Anyone had a recent 6-year service at a main dealer - I booked my car in at Guildford a few weeks ago and forgot to ask for a price….will have to call them tomorrow!

Also - my car has only just hit 13k miles so any items I could sensibly not do e.g. spark plugs?

And finally - can anyone recommend a good independent in NW London area but happy to travel within reason…just want the car to be properly looked after without wasting money on things that don’t matter

Yep - definitely get Guilford to confirm a price. They no longer participate in the online Jaguar fixed pricing scheme and I have found them to be less than satisfactory honouring service plans and stated costs without having to have a few words.

I suggest you also give Tom Lenthall a call and ask Adam for a quote too, before Guildford spank you.
They are a top quality outfit and can also do official warranty work without you having to do anything yourself.
They may be busy though!

I’ve been quoted £1,210 for 6-year service…seems a lot but apparently this is the discounted price!
I did ask what made the 6-year service so expensive and was told transfer box oil change amongst other things (the extra cost of AWD or is this SVR tax?)

A shout out to Lunar and to Adam at Tom Lenthall. Unfortunately they are very busy as Lunar suggested (a good sign!) and I cannot wait 2 months but Adam responded promptly to my online enquiry and subsequent questions. Good prices too with sensible options in recognition of my low mileage.

Will seriously consider using them next year.
