Good Morning!
Hoping for a little help....
Looking to buy a V6S, pre face-lift, ideally sub 50k milage, sub £25k price, black, blue or grey
I've narrowed it down to two potential cars:
LP13WDN
LM13RXY
Could I ask for assistance in determining their servicing history/any issues/flags please?
Having haunted the forum for a little while, I've shamelessly cribbed a list of things to check - could I ask if there's anything I've missed....?
Boot floor - corrosion/leaks
Central vents rise & fall
Active exhausts work with button & when switching modes
Rear diff - noise & leakage
Cross braces - corrosion
Windows - vertical scratches
Door handles - working?
Coolant leakage
Panel alignment, bonnet & Bottom of doors
Window trim lifting
Many thanks in advance
Potential Buyer, servicing history concerns
You're on the right track as far as things you need to check. You can check the car's history on apps such as TotalCarCheck. I know one of them sponsors this forum but I can't remember their name, sorry!
Good luck
Good luck

LP13WDN was registered as new on plate BH30, three previous owners and has been for sale for 2 months and has dropped in price by £4k. On this one I would check the windscreen and all tyres carefully based on MOT history.
From 21st May 2013 and is car number 2003. V6S in Lunar Grey. There is no online service at all for this car not even a PDI record. So please check all paperwork as it should of had 11 services, two rear diff oil changes, two spark plugs changes, supercharger belt, accessory belt, etc

LM13RXY was registered as new on plate K57ARR, three previous owners (including plate ER13FUN) and has been for sale since July for prices varying from £18.5k to £26k. On this one I would be looking into why it was off the road for 14 months in 2017 and why it is still unsold.
From 1st August 2013 and is car number 5816. V6S in Waterbourne. Again very limited service history, not itemised and nothing since 2020. So check for paper work and detailed records such as those expensive services such as supercharger belts.

@WShudds - That's Fantastic! Thank you very much
@SimpleR - On LP13 WDN, I'd seen the MOT details, noted winsdscreen, tyres etc, and pretty much come to the conclusion that the car doesn't appear to have been loved very much. That coupled with the absence of a service history (Dealer reckoned it was mixed Jaguar and specialist) - but I've not seen anything yet....is kinda ruling this one out for me.
I'm digging into LM13 RXY's service history - in this instance the dealer appears to have a comprehensive record, albeit some Jaguar, some not Jaguar - so waiting on the details from the dealer
On the price/sale history of LM13 RXY, could you expand on the price differential (18.5 - 26k since Jul) please - seems like a huge jump?
Are you able to see when and where those differences occurred Has it been bought and sold multiple times (seems unlikely?) or bought cheaply, worked on and been priced higher as a result perhaps?
I'd have PM'd you but as a newbie I can't
Once again, many thanks for your assistance

Below. I am only posting information publicly available. It may be incorrect of course.
I think the data shows that the original seller got £18,500 as a part ex and the car was put up for sale for 26,750 which has since been reduced to 24,750.

Good afternoon,
One more if I may….?
DS15ZKF
I’ve done some due diligence, has a FSH on the Jaguar system - albeit not all with mainstream Jaguar dealers. My question is, how can I ascertain if the car has had the expensive elements changed? Supercharger belt, accessory belt, spark plugs and coolant - because I can’t see any of those things annotated on the system
I’ve spoken directly to one of the garages who serviced the car, and they didn’t do those pieces of work….and the other independent listed on the Jaguar system isn’t is business anymore!
Would welcome your collective wisdom?
Thanks in advance (again)

A few comments to answer your questions.
The car does not have a full service history.
2nd and 3rd services were up to 2 years late hence it only has 7 services and not 9. The 9th service is the supercharger and accessory belts hence these are overdue and not been done.
Regarding other elements like spark plugs and rear diff oil, the services are itemised with pollen filters and wiper blades so I would take that as it hasn't been done. You wouldn't go to the effort of writing on wiper blades and not bother with the really important bits.
EDIT. This same reg plate car is much cheaper btw
