That’s worth a call to the seller to discuss before a potential wasted drive and see what paperwork they hold for non registered services.
It should have had 9 services so far compared to the listed 5 and even those are the basic oil and filters with a plug change. Missing the expensive aux belt changes at last service.
Looks to be typical of a minimal maintenance car passed on several times using mileage as the driver of maintenance not required annual servicing.

Thanks for that…..I won’t risk that one either then.
As well as the spec being right the service history must be right too otherwise it could be a very costly mistake.
I’ll keep looking…….

I'd not judge it too harshly.
Mine is a 2013 V6S Convertible thats been meticulously serviced, got all its belts, oils, filters changed at the right time. It even spent 7 years in France, had an export marker and is now back in the UK.
As it was serviced by an indy, the service history on the jaguar website isn't complete, but i have all the receipts, photographs and evidence to support that, so it may be the case here. It may also be its not been serviced well, but worth a call - you may miss out on a great car.

If the seller has paperwork to support non-listed service work then it could be a good deal.

Re LC15 PNV
As promised I had a look round this car today.
For a 2015 car it seems in remarkably good condition which probably explains the asking price. The paintwork does show small swirls but nothing significant. The wheels are in excellent condition as is the interior and hood.
If I was being really picky there did seem to be slight tobacco odour in the car but it was a really hot day so it may have been the leather/plastic. I checked and there were no signs of it having been smoked in. I mentioned it to the seller (Simon) and he agreed it was very feint and said that he had a machine (deodoriser?) that would eliminate that in 45 minutes.
I mentioned the gap in service history and was shown the print out that has already been discussed. It was pointed out that one missing was during the pandemic and that the car had barely been driven in that time. It was also noted that the car had the major 96k service done at 25,839 miles. NB: As part of the sale the car would be serviced and have a new MOT.
Simon was quite happy to share the HPI check that he had done on the car showing it as having had 2 owners with the last change on 13/07/23. All info was green except for the plate change which was amber. It's possible that this is what flagged an export marker on another check. Apparently this car has never been exported. The car originally cost £75,575 (£71,180 + £4,395 options).
In summary I consider the car to be well worth a look. Good luck.

TH51 - no criticism of what you did which was very kind to view a car for someone and you're just relaying info. Below I'm just clarifying the servicing for anyone who wants to check on this car:TH51 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 3:30 pmI mentioned the gap in service history and was shown the print out that has already been discussed. It does seem that dealers jut say whatever comes to mind as regards servicing:
It missed it's first annual service then had the 2 year service early
Covid didn't start until 2020, but it missed it's 2019 service and was actually serviced during Covid in 2020
The 96k which the dealer claims had a major service missed the spark plugs. Given it was at a JLR dealer then it's clear instruction was given to do a minimal 'oil & filter' service
The car is 9 years old so should already have the 108 month which includes accessory belt and supercharger belt. That's expensive.
Just for reference next service at 120k (May 2025) is Trans oil and diff oil

Thanks for checking this out but the worry for me I’m afraid is the service history.TH51 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 3:30 pmRe LC15 PNV

Given the amount of money involved I really want one with a perfect history so to be honest I have already discounted this one.

Thanks for all your help guys; for an old animal like myself venturing into the more exotic world of supercars I guess you can understand why I might be nervous about buying something which might or might not be correct.cj10jeeper wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 9:36 amTH51 - no criticism of what you did which was very kind to view a car for someone and you're just relaying info. That said, I have found another one and once again I would appreciate your help regarding it before I make a massive mistake.
It’s a 15 plate with all the toys I would like at Senior cars in Market Harborough. It still bears its personal plate (B19 PBG) so I’m hoping this might be third time lucky.
Any thoughts gratefully received as I’m already in the doghouse for even deigning to think about spending my (emphasis on my) hard earned money on something which may give an old animal pleasure!!
A typical comment I guess after nearly 47 years of marriage

Car 27952
Registered 9th July on original plate GK15VTN to 1st owner.
2nd owner picked up 3rd Feb 2016 and put it on current private plate and kept it until now.
Based on mileage and it stayed at the supplying dealer I presume it was a demostrator to start with (as unlikely to be a managers car as it was supplied by dealer and not Paragon fleet solutions).
Service history below. Hope it has paperwork as nothing itemised and nothing since 2018.

On the site it looks to be a nice car, but they don't say anything about it other than cut and paste of spec. sheets.
I agree with simpleR that this has been a demo car as held 6 months then in effect a PDI check to sell. I don't have issues with demonstrators per se as frankly it's low mileage and fairly gentle driving.
MOT history looks clean
I'd make a call to Senior Cars and ask if they have a full annual itemised service history to date inc. all the extra works due such as spark plug change. If so send you some photos of the 6 overdue services. If not avoid any pain and walk away, but I do expect the owner has serviced it at an indy garage.
