When mine snapped the whole shelf was replaced under warranty, and the additional washers were fitted to the pegs to stop the shelf falling off them.

Ah you broke a peg - mine was a snapped cord, caused when the shelf jammed against the rear door and I had to force it open. Apologies for any confusion. I don't think just the cord could be replaced on my shelf.

Bad news I'm afraid - the only oem fix is to replace the whole side panel - the peg isn't a separate part.
Or... do what I did - use a bolt, a washer and a nylock nut to create a new peg. I gained enough access to behind the side panel by cutting away one of the verical strips in the ventilation panel, placed the washer and bolt on the inside of the panel and nylock nut on the boot side. Then use either tape or shrink wrap to pad out the diameter of the bolt to the same as the old peg.
I did it thinking the worse that could happen would be that I'd need to buy a new panel anyway. 2 years later it's still working perfectly, so saved myself £250.
