Boot lights

Afternoon everyone,

I hope your all enjoying the day with your car(s)
I hope you can help, when do your boot lights come on I have MY P450 the to tailgate lights seem to come on with car lights the other two (either side of the boot) don’t seem to come on, I would have assumed these come on when the tailgate is open car lights on or not but you know what they say about assuming

Does anyone know fuse location for the boot lights, I should fuse check just in case

I have just looked. Mine are on when the hatch opens I cannot see a switch anywhere so, it could be in the lock mechanism somewhere.
The other 2 lights, that come on with the exterior lights are for the rear number plate.
Do your interior cabin lights come on when you open the doors, I wonder if they are somehow linked.

Ah off course they are the number plate lights good point I hadn’t thought,
I will check interior lights tomorrow to see if they are linked
