Replaced the Shark Fin easy DIY job. £120 with next day delivery from Britcar. Satnav is now working correctly.

Thank you! It is not the leather that is thicker, rather that they do not remove the original leather on a heated F-Type wheel. Royals told me it is too risky in terms of damaging the heating element. It is probably 30% cooler than stock, but it felt fine with the roof down this morning. All good!

In other news, spent several thousand pounds getting a few things sorted on the V8, supercharger nose/water pump/belts/pulleys .... in case you wondered a supercharged V8 is quite a bit quicker with the supercharger connected ;)
Trickiest bit is the airbag release clips - they take a bit of getting too, but the rest is simple. Just need to ensure the clock spring is not moved too much.

Got the car a 36mth/48000 mile serviced today by a local Indy specialist, even though its only done 10670 miles from new.

I don't know where my original post went so I'll try again I hope It doesn't appear anywhere else but apologies If I repeat myself,,,,I'm sure that Jaguar will be a bit annoyed they never thought of this and charged a good few quid for it I just fitted mine and it's a lovely neat and tidy fit well worth £20 odd for.

Had a gentle run for 142 miles, averaged 64mph, fuel consumption 36.7mpg. Incredible for a supercharged V8.
