Remote start

On this side of the water the Remote Start function is not available on the Jaguar Remote.
Wondering whether an easy shift of the country of residence in the account details to UK make it available and operational?
Any member tried it?

Not tried it but can confirm that the remote start does work in Europe. Was at an Air show in France this year and the temp was 37 C, walking back to the car I remotely started it and set the A/C working 5 min before we got to the car.
Tracker also called while on the tunnel train to check I was taking it away.

Remote start works perfectly in the UK. I've used it quite a few times in the recent cold snap.

Mine works well in the UK. I use it every day walking to the car so it can idle for 20 seconds and get the high idle out of its blood before I drive off

how can i find out if your f type has the remote start function . i don't want to pay the subscription just to see the fuel level on my phone ,,

Good question!
I have a 2021 R and i can’t use pre conditioning or remote start. It’s a belgian car.

Got mine setup this evening (UK 2021 car). Not sure when I'd use it really, would have been better if you could have turned the heated seats and steering wheel on remotely.

The remote start function is not available for our Belgian cars. Hence my initial query to learn whether by simply changing the country of residence in the user profile would make it available, or it has to do with the car configuration when leaving factory.

I do a regular shortish journey and use remote start to get the engine warmed up before I leave home. And the interior lovely and cool these days! Very useful feature for me.
