Jaguar Remote App issue

……. I've ordered a new TCU battery in the hope that will sort my (car!) issues out. Should be here tomorrow.

I’d be interested to hear if this new battery fixes the issue.
Though, TBH, if other functions are ‘communicating’ between car/server/phone remote app - I’d think the battery couldn’t be the issue?

Interestingly, mine has stopped remote starting too recently, everything else works

The app has been working normally again for the last week no more spinning while trying to update and remote functions working correctly. Jaguar must have done something to correct the issues.

Yeah, I've noticed everything's back to "normal" now.

All has been working AOK here for a couple of weeks, too - but I think I mentioned this in another thread as an update

I had this issue but now realise that my map subscription expiry was the reason for the issue. The app is now working after renewing the subscription for a further 3 years.

My initial thought is that it must be something to do with the gearbox or electronic parking brake sensor. Obviously, as a safety issue, the car wouldn't start if the car isn't in "Park" with the electronic parking brake applied. I know this is obvious and you've probably already done so, but double check both these criteria have been met before investigating further.

Oh, and the car must be locked too.

I hardly ever put my electronic park brake on and the app still starts the car.

Only issues I’ve had is when the phone signal drops to 3G…
