Having been a member of the I-Pace (yep I know!) forums previously I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to join the F-Type forums!
A bit of background...my first Jaguar was a 2020 Jaguar I-Pace HSE. I gave the EV thing a go, I travelled from the south coat to Cumbria and all over the UK in it. The I-Pace was extremely quick, lovely to drive, but the reliability sucked! Out of my three years of ownership I only actually had it to drive for about 18 months! The the lack of charging infrastructure and speed was a pain but what I really missed was the feeling that I was actually driving a car...
Since I first saw the F-Type in 2013, it has always been a dream car of mine. I love the shape of it and I love that you can get it in a RWD. (My first car was a Gold Capri 1.6L

So when the I-Pace went I know that what I had probably really wanted to drive all along was the F-Type.
I set about finding a P300 in the colour and spec that I wanted and found one local to me, picture attached. I bought my P300 in 2022 and have loved driving it every time I get into it. I treat it as my daily. It has been a money pit though, new disks all round and a new exhaust back box. But I still love it, even though my wife can't quite understand why.
However, its time for it to go!
I am now in the lucky position of trading my P300 in for a 2024 P450 75 Plus and I could not be any happier! Hoping that it arrives in the next week or so! I will miss my P300, its a great car and have so enjoyed driving it, but cannot wait to finally achieve my lifelong dream of owning and driving a V8 (is that misguided? I'm not sure! But hey!!)
I'm a 53, still young enough to get in and out of the car, year old Male living on the South Coast. I love driving, but not that great at the technical mechanical engineering stuff so may ask some stupid questions.
Anyway, I'm glad to be here and thanks for having me!
