Re: Sorry Sim question

I can recommend a ‘3’ mobile pay as you go SIM from Amazon.
Either a 12GB / 12 month or a 24GB / 24 month SIM

These work straight out the package with no need to pre activate.

Re: One DRL is half as bright as the other.

Following with interest and well done in pursuing a solution to this. Sounds like there is a much better understanding of the issue.

One question I have is why does this appear to only affect the near side DRL. Has anyone also seen this on the offside as well??

Re: Range/Land Rover Thefts

Has anyone had there F-type security updated? Today I had my 2019 F-Pace updated (Jaguar sent me a letter saying a free update was due) but nothing for the F-type (yet) Had my 2019 F-Pace updated a couple of weeks ago. Dealership confirmed to me there was no recall applicable to my F-type but then ...

Re: Jaguar InControl App – Or Is It Out of Control? Help Needed!

Nigelc! Quick one—where exactly is the TCU battery located? Assuming you have a coupe. It’s in the black module that sits behind the space between the seats, above the arm rest. Pull the trim panel forward from the top and lift out. You’ll see the module on the bulkhead. There’s a single screw to r...

Re: Jaguar InControl App – Or Is It Out of Control? Help Needed!

Finally, after initially getting low battery warnings from day 1. I resolved this myself by replacing the £20 TCU battery. I thought the low battery warning referred to the main 12V one, the rechargeable TCU battery getting old just results in SOS system failures? Sorry if I mislead anyone but to c...

Re: Jaguar InControl App – Or Is It Out of Control? Help Needed!

I feel your pain and had a very similar experience. My resolution was to update all the vehicle software OTA and perform a B Call. Jag tech teams were then able to remove the old owner and add me on. I agree with Rikochet. I purchased from a BMW ‘specialist’ in July and despite my local JLR dealer ...

Re: 2015 Jaguar Car Radio

There are 7 different regions for Smooth Radio via FM. These have different frequency ranges and I wonder if you could be on the boundary of a region. Being an analogue signal, this could cause poor signal levels. FM: 102.2 MHz - London 100.4 MHz - North West 105.2 MHz - Scotland 97.5 MHz / 107.7 MH...

Re: SORN Advice Please…

Slightly different scenario. If you have paid in advance for 6 or 12 months VED, I assume you simply get a refund for any full months where SORN is declared within the taxed period? Yes, the registered keeper will get an automatic tax refund for any full unused months of RFL from the point the SORN...
