Private Reg - CD10 JAG

As title (and my previous post now deleted), just purchased a Jag with a private plate fitted, CD10 JAG - asking £270.

Other similar plates online are anywhere from £500 - £800 with the VAT and fees on top, so would like to think this is an excellent price for a plate like this.

Advertised elsewhere.

Just as a point of note there is no fee to assign a different registration to a car. The only fee is for the original owner to place it on retention.

Surely "driving without due car" can't be illegal? Though it could be offensive!
