Thanks to everyone who contributed to my choice of V6 thread. I do like the 400 Sport, however... I did some classic man maths and realised it would not cost a lot more than the V6 to run.
So with that in mind I have found two V8s that fit my budget and requirements of FSH, fixed spoiler, performance seats, heated seats and pan roof. I am going to try and test both in the next week but what one would you guys choose, and does one have something great that I am missing?
Personally I would go for the newer (2019) one, if only for the color and bigger screen. And age matters maybe more than mileage, if service was done on time.

I like the physical buttons with the smaller screen - you can select them without taking your eyes off the road.
Me too.
This. The only thing the wider screen really brings to the party is OEM CarPlay/Android Auto. The increased screen size isn't really used very well. If you have a facelift car with the 8" screen and really want the 10" one you can get it retrofitted. If you want CarPlay/Android Auto in the 8" system you just chuck in a UAD unit and have a possibly more future proof CarPlay/Android Auto solution than the OEM one.
MY18 V6S R-Dynamic coupé RWD with about every toy and option you could get BRG, design black pack, 20" carbon blades, pano, full Sienna tan interior with performance seats...
For no other reason than I prefer the look of it, the black one. They are both R’s so will be fantastic. The wheels on the grey one do nothing for me and it doesn’t look particularly clean inside. Yes it can be cleaned but it doesn’t feel looked after.
MY21 F-Type R P575 AWD Coupe. Portofino Blue, panoramic roof, exterior black design pack, climate pack, Meridian surround sound system, privacy glass.
Thanks guys, I see your point on the physical buttons, although I like the bigger screen as I think it looks more modern. Neither alloys really appeal to me but they can be easily changed. Will the 2019 sound quieter as I understand the gpf was added for emission standards in that year?
2017 Jaguar F Type R
Santorini Black
Pan roof
Performance seats
Fixed spoiler
Carbon Blade alloys
The 2019 will probably be quieter due to gpf - but you really need to see both cars in the metal. I’d buy on condition and whichever feels best to drive. I do like the bigger screen - mainly for Apple CarPlay but also more modern looks.
