Re: MY21 Front grille badge swap to 2023 black version.

Just made the change on my car, using a combination of both the “jam your fingers in until they hurt” and “methodical, use though and logic” techniques, combined with a very sharp knife (the perks of being a chef! 😂) and have successfully swapped the red growler with a new black “75” version. Looks...

Re: Car to leave on drive for 6 weeks…….

I leave my car in storage for 8 weeks at a time every 8 weeks (I work away 8 on, 8 off) and never ever have an issue starting it on my return. Even the start/stop kicks back in after a short drive home The only thing that might happen is the tyres will change pressure slightly, that’s the only “issu...

Re: Part Worn Tyre

Ouch! Not entirely related but how bad is the pothole situation in England? I occasionally toy with the idea of another little road trip up to the UK in my F-Type but keep getting put off by pot hole horror stories. It’s pretty rough to be honest, a lot of nasty holes on the edges of roads, particu...

Part Worn Tyre

Hello all, Hit a very nasty pot hole on my way to Gatwick this morning and put a huge bulge in my front near side tyre, so changing both fronts. I’ll keep hold of the other ‘good’ front tyre, so if anyone has a need for a front tyre (255/35Y20) Pirelli pzero with about 5mm of tread on it, I have one...

Re: Badges - black or silver? R

For reference, my car is Black, Black Badges, Black pack, Black everything, except the wheels, and I like it. Which is all that matters! Black wheels too might have been too much, but on a car this stylish already, I don’t think you can go far wrong. People will always admire the F-Type, but it’s yo...

Re: Ceramic Coating – Buff or Bluff?

Looks awesome and great value for the price! It would have cost 3 times+ in America for the same service. Detailing in the UK is nowhere near as valued as in some other countries. It definitely seemed good value at the time too, it was like picking up a new car after it had been done! I spend a lot...
