Re: More battery issues
Do you mean that the battery charger should not be connected direct to the negative point on the battery ...and if so why not ? If I DO disconnect the battery can I connect the charger direct to both poles of the battery ? (again, I can't think why not) In situ charging should be done by connecting...

Re: Battery died after MOT from Jaguar
If the battery went flat that would be the equivalent of disconnecting to reset everything anyway so no real need to do it manually. I would suggest you get a battery maintainer if you haven't already, so you can fully charge the battery and don't suffer this again.

Re: Battery died after MOT from Jaguar

Re: Any other poor sod stuck on M3 ?
Which sound system do you have? The Meridian 770W needs a fair few amps, the 380W about half of that. Give your battery an overnight charge when you get home and you should be good to go.

Re: Battery died after MOT from Jaguar
If I did get it replaced - would the phantom drain issue they caused with the open session after odb port mot - wouldn’t it happen again? Why not take it to a decent place to get the MOT done, which doesn't require anything plugged into the OBD port? And I doubt the battery needs to be replaced, ju...
