Re: Me again, the newbie about to commit.....soon?
I would say it is down to personal preference and you won't miss what you don't know about. I was really unsure so chose a 400 sport as it pretty much had everything I think I wanted as standard. For a convertible most people seem to aim for heated seats and heated steering wheel. And items such as ...

Re: First time Jag buyer
For a car with 7 previous owners and very little service history I would suggest it is several thousand pounds over priced. Screenshot_20250504-102759.png It could be over due supercharger belts, different oil etc and could be £2k+ service required. Also why has no one else brought it since September?

MGA not very helpful.
Unfortunately we are not taking any new customers on at the moment due to our heavy workload.
Looking further afield for options.

Re: SimpleR 400 Sport - My Car Topic
Interesting stuff. I priced up all the TR Jaguar OEM parts (genuine parts not alternatives, cheapest retailers and ended up at over £1100). Um. I will ask MGA for a quote as well then.

Re: SimpleR 400 Sport - My Car Topic
Anyone had replacement discs and can share costs?
I am 380mm front and 376mm rear and Jaguar have quoted £1498.69 for all new OEM discs and pads, front and rear, which seems reasonable.

Re: SimpleR 400 Sport - My Car Topic
New panoramic roof fitted by Jaguar. No issues with insurance either. Took 2.5 weeks to get sorted, which is a little longer than expected in the loan range rover. Jaguar Derby very good and doing next service, 8th service, list £712, for free as a courtesy. Next on shopping list is set of discs all...

Re: TopiX Workshop Manual for Panoramic Roof Replacement
Normal price. Booked at 7.1 hours on Topix plus glass and fixing kit.
For the sake of £200 difference and potential future issues (as had car for nearly 8 years and still have extended warranty) I thought best with Jaguar.
